Few things in life can equal to the pleasure of eating good Italian pasta

Look for some pasta in Nice – and you will find a dozen in a blink of an eye. The proximity to Italy makes many Italian come and propose the famous dish in restaurants around the french riviera.
But how many of them are home-made? delicious? creative? authentique?
Only a few, and if you are in search of one – Illia Pasta should be your first address to go to.

This small place introduce its own interpretation for pasta, merging Italy and France to one in its dishes.
This infusion makes wonderful dishes like “pasta ratatouille” with buffalo mozzarella, cèpes pasta, sea food “salsa” pasta and more creative ideas.

It is not only about the ideas, as the preparation of each dish is the true source of wonder.
Illia himself, the owner and chef, prepares the dough every day on the spot for next day reservation.
He uses only the best biological products from Italy, which makes even the most delicate of flavors present on the tongue.
The dishes are fairly sized and served in a ceramic pot opened in front of your eyes, making all the odeur climb inside the nose.

You can definitely say that there is one maestro in the kitchen that does not compromise on the level of preparation and quality of products. This feeling continues through the various types of coffee offered on the menu – all of which are properly made.

All of this pleasure is priced at 10.90 € for all dishes, special ones (“dish of the day”) are priced at 15.90 € – which is very accessible.

It is so nice to see an authentique and homey place like this taking the love to pasta to its limits – and then some. Bravo!
