29.11-24.02.2020: the Chinese lantern festival

Between the 29.11.2019-23.02.2020, Nice will be welcoming “Baie des Lumieres”, the Chinese lantern festival, for the first time in Park Phoenix near the airport.

This extravagant show of lights is expected to be a riot for the whole family, as 550 monumental luminous lanterns will light the skies of the city.

The show will include an 18-metre high Great Wall of China and two 50-metre-long dragons – just like in China!
This is a true opportunity to discover Chinese traditions and know-how, illustrated by live scenes and fairy tales.

Ticket prices will vary between 17-46 €, depends on your age and situation.

29.11-02.12: 24th Monte-Carlo Gastronomie

The tent in Fonvieille in Monaco will host its 24th edition of the gastronomie festival. Like every year, more than 100 exhibitors will produce their delights to visitors. Moreover, a contest will take place as eight amateur cooks will try to win the “Maestro Chef” title. The eight demonstrate their talents in front of great chefs by producing three recipes (one per day), represented by Joël Garault, former starred chef of the Hôtel Hermitage’s Vistamar and Jury President.

15-29.02 2020: Nice Carniaval

Like each year, the most popular event of Nice will take place on February on the Promenade des Anglais.
This year, the festival’s theme will be <<The Fashion King>>.
Traditionally, it will host the grand parades and the famous “flower battle”.
Entry is free for those who will wear costumes from head to toe!
