Shopping in Monaco: how to do it like a boss

Monaco has its own unique glam when it comes to fashion. With new shopping areas to choose from, order has to be done

Shopping could be tricky when you come to a certain destination – and even more so when you have limited time staying there.

It is also true to a multi-layer place like Monaco, that hides many shopping “caves” inside it.
Here are the main centers you can find there, with exact location linked in the pictures:

Metropole shopping center

Just underneath the Metropole hotel lies a hidden shopping center with all-you-can-ask luxury goods, restaurants and cafes.
Among others, you can find world famous shops such as Tommy Hilfiger, Max Mara, Gucci, Fauchon and many more.

One Monte-Carlo

The new “One” area was inaugurated in March 2019 as an ultra-luxury residential and commercial center, located seconds away from the famous casino of Monte-Carlo.
Replacing the old cinema, this area is now home to some top of the line fashion marks like Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and many more.

Commercial center of Fontvieille

The more “down to earth” shopping area of Monaco, located in the Fontvieille quarter.
This area is more modest than the aforementioned centers, with local fashion stores, H&M, NAF NAF, Decathlon. There are also some places to eat like McDonald’s and even a big supermarket.

Casino of Monte-Carlo

Besides of it a leading gambling house, it has also have some shops around it you will find scattered in the passage that connects Buddha Bar and the main entrance.
Among others you will find some top watches and jewelry marques and haute-couture design brands.

Rue Grimaldi

Named after the family of the prince of Monaco, Albert II, it is not exactly a shopping center – but a rather charming street full of boutiques. This include clothing, jewelry and gadgets related to the Grand Prix of Monaco.
